folks in my motorcycle riding group. They know me as Jake or John.
Here’s what I posted in our forum on June 1st.
Passing along some
info for all. Had the stock seat to my Royal Star Tour Deluxe
rebuilt by Sunmark Upholstery in Bellevue 425-821-2400. They did a
terrific at a very good price. I pass this on because many riders
think !#*#’s is the only game in the region: I’ve been in his shop
more than once and I’ve heard more than enough of his BS about how
good he is. Sunmark is my choice going forward. They also did some
very nice work on our sidecar seat and convertible top.
I’ve had custom made
seat made by !#*#’s by Day-Long-Saddles, and now by Justin. I won’t
consider a Corbin, Mustang or any other “one size fits all builders”

Already home and installed seat/backrest!! The seat fits on the bike
more snug now!! And what a difference in the backrest… WOW!! Hope to
go for a spin soon—Thanks again for the great service and I will

They did a wonder job on my Porshe 911, they were very helpfull in
telling me what is involved and seem to really know their work..
Sunmark did the top at a fair price. I had no worries leaving my car
with them.
I wanted more personal
attention without getting lost in the numbers as with some other
local seat upholstery places. Sunmark took time to listen to what I
wanted and added suggestions from his professional point of view.
The end result is stunning and is all that I had hoped for. Price
for the whole package, seat and backrest, was below what I had been
quoted from another shop. Highly recommended. Shop is very
accessible and convenient.

re-upholstering three old chairs and repairing an old rocking chair.
Good customer relations--helpful, plus reasonable price quote--and

I stopped by to visit the folks at Sunmark so I could
get a quote to recover my motorcycle seats. They were so informative and
friendly I decided to bring in the seats to my GSX1300R Hayabusa to be recovered
and have the color changed. I am 100% satisfied with the results and the new
revived look of my sport bike. I would recommend Sunmark to anyone looking to
get motorcycle seats recovered. Great Job, Great Service, Friendly folks, very
informative and competitively priced. An overall great experience! Two thumb

I used Sunmark
Upholstery Auto Furniture Boat to replace the interior cushion seat in my car.
They also did a little repair which I didn't even know that the seat cushion
element had been broken.

They did an
excellent work. They took about three hours to complete just the driver seat.
They were attentive and courteous. They were responsive to my questions. I had
called and used three or four other providers in the immediate area I live in.
These were the guys who responded within two days to my email to start with. I
pulled them from Angie's List. Although all four of them responded, these were
the first ones. They seemed to sound exactly what they were doing. They asked
if it was a heat seat or a cushion seat or a leather seat. They were more
specific about their questions. They could only give a final price once they
saw the actual seat. They gave me a ballpark figure which ended up being about
$20 less than what they gave us an estimate on the email. They repaired the
wire element but I don't know what exactly they did. I forgot to ask them
because I wanted it to keep going.

hole in our expensive leather couch, which had separated at a seam.

cheaper on site repair, rather than having to take it to their shop. They worked

know what they are doing. He explained exactly how the process would go, and he
was correct. Very knowledgeable. Great work. I found them to be more reasonable
($) than Convertibles Only in Seattle.

I had 3 kitchen
barstools reupholstered. Sunmark was extremely helpful and very good with
following up. They did excellent work and were done on time. The price wound up
being a little under the estimate. When talking to Justin I discovered that they
did other types of repairs on automobiles. I ended up having them fix a seat
heater in my car for a lot less money than I was quoted elsewhere. I think they
are very honest and ethical, and that is the number one quality I look for when
deciding which businesses to utilize.

pleasant to work with. We needed to drop the car off Wednesday night because we
had a conflict with dropping it off Thursday morning. They were willing and able
to accommodate us. They had the car ready when promised. The new ceiling looks
fabulous.

I had an office
chair of sentimental value that was in need of repair. The back was in great
condition, but the seat had several tears in it. They were able to match the
fabric so well you would never suspect only the seat had been done. I am
absolutely thrilled! Everyone was professional, knowledgeable and extremely
nice.

I truly couldn't
have asked for a better outcome. I emailed the company and received a reply the
following business day which included an estimate. (I had included photos in my
email.) I inquired about pickup and delivery. They advised me to bring it in if
at all possible as the cost of pickup and deliverytold wouldn't be worth it.
Sunmark had my chair just over a week. It was actually done a few days before I
was able to pick it up.

They did
the leather interior of the floor panel, it was basically split. They patched it
up, I don't know how they did it but it looked like it was never like that. They
also restitched on the door panel as well.

They fixed the
dripping leak in the sunroof on my 2000 Nissan Xterra. One of two
factory-installed screws was missing, and the other had loosened. They replaced
the screw, and resealed everything. Also checked all the seals, cleaned the
drains, and tightened everything up. No more drips.

I park my 2000
Nissan Xterra on the street. It suddenly started dripping when it rained. I
called some local places (I live in Ballard) I found on Angie's list , but they
all said I should talk to Greg at Sunmark in Kirkland. That's out of my way for
me, but I wanted to be sure the leak was fixed the first time. I talked to Greg
on the phone, and he said their minimum charge was $150. This included a
pressurized leak test, plus an hour (I think) of labor. Because the sunroof was
factory installed, and the truck had no body damage, Greg thought it likely that
the repair would would be within their minimum. They had an opening later that
week. I dropped off the truck around 11am, and the work was done by 3pm.

supplied the fabric to reupholster 2 stripped silk ottomans. I also had 2 back
cushions to be re-stuffed.

pleased with the quality of work and the overall customer service. The fabric
matched perfectly on the completed ottomans. The re-stuffed cushions are better
then when new. Estimated completion was 10 days, job was completed in 5 days. I
will definitely use again.
